Welcome to ‘Meet Our Needs Ministry’. This ministry "Meet our Needs" or known as "Meeting Needs" was founded by Mark & Raelene Wilson. When we witnessed first hand the needs of these people and children we instantly had a love for them. This vision was inspired by the late Bill Matthews and his sweet wife Val, who reach out to the underprivileged people and children of Thailand and Cambodia by meeting their natural, financial, spiritual and emotional needs. We aim to bring awareness to our nation of Australia of the unfortunate conditions that these children and their communities have to deal with every day. We want to reach their basic needs with God's love so they are taken care of and to show them their value in life – all because God loves them and places a very high significance on them. We also support and assist other ministries by reaching out to them in encouragement and support in love, financially and practically so that they may continue on with their own calling and fulfill the dream that has been placed in their heart by God. The cry of these destitute and lonely people is “please” “Meet our Needs” so that is what we seek to do. For so many of them the daily basic requirements are not met. Food, hygiene, education are not even possible. When you meet these beautiful people you also will understand how easy it is to love them with a compassion and love from God. You will want to meet their needs too.
We want to see God set free those in bondage by offering assistance anyway we can, preach the gospel in love by action and heal the brokenhearted by touching them with God's unconditional love. We desire to see a fire and passion ignited for Jesus in all God touches. “Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.” Ps 41:1-3 (NKJV) | Raelene & Mark with Craig and Meechu in the background at Grace Home.
