EDEN CHILDREN'S HOME
This home was started by Ahpichart and Yusa Nakiri in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand. Yusa (the wife) manages this home alone. She has thirteen children ranging from the ages of 3 - 10 years of age. All of the children's parents are in jail and they have no-one to care for them. Yusa takes the children to see their parents in jail regularly, if it is possible.
Yusa is a committed Christian and her husband is a pastor who is very busy. She has no financial help or support at all, only what her husband makes from the congregation. He is busy pastoring away most of the time.
I was introduced to Yusa when I was in Thailand in February and I was overwhelmed by her gentleness and peace she displayed as all 13 children ran around playing. Yusa is Pastor Abe's sister from Grace Home. I met all the children and instantly loved them, from the shyest to the cheekiest with their cute little personalities. Yusa's love for these little ones is commendable as she pours out her heart into their precious little lives.

The children (below) are TON 6, TAM 4, NATAPONG 5, YOUDSHEONE 8, CHINGNAWAT 7, CHADCHA 9, SAMECHAI 7, NATAWATDEE 10, KIMMIKA 8, AREE 6, CHANISARA 8, APINAN 8, NATEE 3, all attend the local pre-school and primary school nearby. Here they are learning the local national language which is Thai and are receiving a good education.

Ton, age 6 is from a Lahu tribe. He is in pre-school and has one brother at Eden Children's Home called Tam.
Tam, 4 is from a Lahu tribe and is in kinder. His brother Ton is also at this home.
Natapong is 5 yrs old. He is also Lahu and is in kinder.
Youdsheone is 8 yrs old. She is form teh Mong tribe and is in grade 1.
Chingnawat is 7 and in kinder and is from a Lahu tribe but his father is Thai. he has Natee and Chanisara as siblings.
Chadchai is 9 yrs old and in grade 1 and is from the Mong tribe.
Samechai is 7, in Kinder and is Akha.
Natawatdee is 10 and in grade 1. she is from the Mong tribe.
Kimmika is 8, in grade 11 and is from teh Mong tribe.
Aree is 6, at kinder and is from the Mong tribe.
Chanisara Fa is 8, in grade 1 and half Lahu and half Thai. She has Natee and Chingnawat as siblings.
Apinam is 8 yrs old, in grade 1 and is Lahu.
Natee, aged 3 was born in jail to his Lahu mother. His Thai father is also in another jail. He is in pre-school. Chanisara and Chingnawat are all family siblings.
